
For nearly four years, Aaron has served as your Camden County Assistant Prosecutor, making him the longest serving assistant prosecutor in Camden County. He has been one of the most active criminal trial attorneys in the County having tried more jury trials in Camden County than possibly any other attorney over the last four years. Aaron is also a professor of American Government at Ozark Technical Community College and is an instructor for the Sheriff’s Academy.
With four children of his own, Aaron has taken a special interest in giving a voice to the voiceless. He has worked closely with law enforcement to insure that child perpetrators are held accountable for their actions and that the child’s rights are protected. He has worked closely with Kid’s Harbor, the Juvenile Office, Children’s Division and other organizations to assist child victims as they go through the rigorous legal process. As a prosecutor he has been instrumental in seeing that Child Predators have been held accountable for their actions.
Aaron not only works to protect child victims, but to protect crime victims in general. He has been instrumental in collecting more restitution for local business at the Lake than his opponents. He has also worked to protect victims of domestic violence over the last four years.
Drunk driving and other alcohol related crimes are a major problem at the Lake, and Aaron has tried more alcohol related crimes than his opponents over the last four years. Aaron has appellate experience as he has argued in front of the Southern District Court of Appeals.
Aaron has received several hundred hours of formal training in numerous areas of law through continuing legal education courses. He has a certification from Childfirst (formerly Finding Words), and he is a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team.
